JTRG first qualified Peanut Island as a USIsland (FL479S) on 06/13/09. We then completed our first island expedition on May 29th and 30th, 2010. We had five operating stations situated between the restored US Coast Guard station and the fallout bunker built for former President, J.F. Kennedy. Thank you to the many sponsors, volunteers, visitors, and radio contacts who made this event successful.

It's finally that time of year and we're headed back! This time we'll be arriving the evening of 05/28/11 and setting up three stations and looking forward to making even more contacts than the previous year.
